Adventure Histories shows are proudly led by experienced educator and passionate historian Vincent Dessmann.

As a qualified and experienced educator with over 13 years of experience teaching History to Secondary and Primary classes, Vincent understands that the most impactful learning happens when students can physically connect with the past. His academic background includes studies in Ancient History and Anthropology at Sydney's Macquarie University.

Our Philosophy: Interaction and Authenticity

My passion for hands-on history began in secondary school after experiencing captivating Medieval and Ancient History shows, which inspired a lifelong love for the subject.

At Adventure Histories, the philosophy is simple: help history come alive! We achieve this by:

• Facilitating learning experiences where participants live out history as a narrative.

• Bringing students on a journey to better understand the beliefs and actions of past peoples through exploration of a wide array of past life facets.

• Providing the opportunity to handle and study historically accurate replica artefacts.
